In the first CDIE 2024 event has been emphasized: the utilization of modern technologies in the cosmetic industry.
Dr. Mohammadreza Shahini, the Deputy CEO of Pars Hayan Pharmaceuticals, in his speech titled “Reshaping the future by Technological Outlook of the Industry: from Nanotechnology to Artificial Intelligence“, emphasized the importance of increasing the adoption of modern technologies in the cosmetic and dermo cosmetic industry.
He highlighted the advancement of these new technologies like AI, IOT, Nano and AR are changing the consumer experiences in the cosmetics industry. He said that AI by using machine learning and data science, is a useful tool for improving product development process including market research, designing, formulation, product test, going to market and etc., in cosmetics and pharmaceutical industry.
Regarding to nano technology, he mentioned 3 main function of Nano tech in Cosmetics: Blocking by nanomaterial (UV factor), Enhancing quality of life by Nanomaterial (for example hair loss products) and treatment by nanomaterial (for example Eczema products).
The first CDIE 2024 event was held on November 21 and 22, 2024, at the Espinas Palace Hotel in Tehran.
